Flow is a fully-equipped
Chicago pilates studio offering individual lessons in
both the pilates method and yoga, a dynamic schedule of group exercise classes including dance-based cardio, and the
Cindy Reid opened flow studio in April 2002 to expand her teaching
practice of pilates, yoga, dance movement and exercise.
Cindy and all the flow instructors share a strong belief in and dedication to bringing students a higher quality of life through mindful movement training, and enhanced overall fitness and wellness. On that note, we are very excited to offer an expanded group class schedule. New classes balance out our offerings to include more functional strength and balance training, more cardiovascular classes, and a variety of new equipment challenges. New classes are offered as part of our group package series where a 10, 20 or 30 pack offer all the variety and flexibility of gym drop- in classes, plus the distinct advantage of smaller sized classes, and instructors who are highly trained in biomechanics and committed to improving your workouts.
We welcome new students at every level. Flow offers a friendly atmosphere and a clear emphasis on tailoring exercise sessions to individual needs. Our instructors can assist with goals ranging from pain management, core stabilization and joint mobilization, to total body conditioning for all fitness levels including professional athletes and dancers. Our staff
consults with a network of health service providers including pts, chiropractors and physicians and on staff professionals at Flow offer massage therapy, thai body therapy and acupuncture. We are committed to bringing
clients a holistic approach to wellness. And we are committed to providing continuing education and training opportunites for pilates and fitness teachers who aspire to the highest level of exercise professionalism.
