Take Your Core Workout to a New Level!  We´re excited to be the first studio in Chicago to introduce the new CoreAlign® Training System and offer the CoreAlign® Teacher Training Program in partnership with Balanced Body!

Flow is proud to bring professional certification for the innovative new CoreAlign® apparatus to the greater Chicago area.

Manufactured in partnership with Balanced Body, this equipment provides a missing link in the health and fitness industry and stands out as a perfect addition to any Pilates, physical therapy, or personal training practice.  CoreAlign® easily adapts to all levels of fitness allowing for appropriate challenge to rehabilitation patients, elite athletes and everyone in between.  It takes mind-body fitness to a whole new level.  Most exercises are performed standing leading to rapid improvement in posture, balance, and functional movement.

An essential tool for your rehab practice

To become a fully qualified balanced body CoreAlign® instructor, students must complete the following requirements:

Training (16 hours) • 40 Personal Practice sessions • 120 Student Teaching Hours
• 14 CoreAlign® Video Review Hours • Written and Practical test

Introduction and Essential exercises

  • An introduction to CoreAlign® theory and principles
  • CoreAlign® unit set up and safety
  • 44 essential exercises facing the ladder, side and back of the unit
  • Prerequisite to any of the advanced courses

Standing Exercise Progressions

  • 70+ additional exercises
  • Standing exercises facing front, back, and side
  • Tabletop exercises for flexibility and coordination
  • Upper body exercises using the ropes and handles
  • All fours exercises for spinal mobility

Upper Body and Two-Unit Exercises

  • 70+ additional exercises
  • Upper body exercises using the ropes and handles
  • All fours exercises for core stability and integration
  • Plank exercises to challenge the whole body
  • Double-unit exercises designed to add extreme challenges for athletes and high performance individuals

Every module includes a certificate of completion for that course. The module certificates establish you as a Balanced Body CoreAlign® student teacher. Additional personal practice, observation and student teaching hours are required to become a fully qualified Balanced Body CoreAlign® Instructor.

Come and sample CoreAlign® in Module 1, acquaint yourself with the apparatus and take it off in your own direction, or completely immerse yourself in the methodology completing Modules 1-3 taking away a Certificate of Completion and a greater understanding of the need for dynamic functional movement training.
